Piraeus Bank – Northern Greece Administration Building

Project Information

Energy upgrade of the Piraeus Bank Administration building of Northern Greece in Thessaloniki.

• Realization of the building’s energy audit and of all the electromechanical studies for the upgrade of the HVAC systems.
• Technoeconomic scenarios for exchange of the cooling and heating systems, using water heat pumps or Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Direct expansion systems.
• Lighting studies for the design of energy and operational improvements of the lighting systems.
• Realization of detailed study to upgrade using VRF systems and changes to the fresh air supply system and upgrade of the BEMS control system including datalogging capabilities.
• Overseeing of the project execution (system construction).
• Evaluation of results – verification of study – from an indoor quality and energy savings perspective.

The results of the energy upgrade to the 9,700 m², 8-stories building of Piraeus Bank are evaluated by the ~ 120 energy meters, previously installed in the building by Thelcon.
