BEMS & KNX Installation | Building B6 – The Ellinikon, Athens
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a fully integrated BEMS and KNX installation at Building B6 of The Ellinikon — Europe’s largest urban regeneration project.
Building B6 serves as the headquarters of Lamda Development / The Ellinikon, the Hellenic Paralympic Committee, Sports FM, and several other organizations.
Systems Under Control
The integrated solution delivers centralized control and monitoring across all key building systems:
- HVAC — control of VRV systems and air handling units
- Indoor & outdoor lighting — full lighting control across all areas
- DMX Control — programmable architectural and decorative lighting
- Ventilation — supply and exhaust fan control
- Additional critical building systems
Building Automation Scenes
Custom building automation scenes were designed and implemented to ensure seamless coordination between all systems. Key elements include:
- External lux meter for dynamic lighting adjustment based on available natural light
- Presence and motion sensors for automatic lighting and HVAC control per zone
- Air quality (CO₂, VOC) and temperature sensors for intelligent ventilation and HVAC management
- Time schedules for automated operation based on occupancy patterns and building hours
Together, these scenes optimize energy efficiency, operational performance, and occupant comfort across all operating conditions.
